Messages from our students

“ My first 2 semesters I lived on campus, which in an amazing location in central-London in the middle of London’s most beautiful park, Regents Park.„ Mircea Preda, Buzau

“ My name is Mihai and I have been with IEC Romania for quite some time now. The journey started back in 2003 when, with the help of their Public High Schools Program, I went to the United States as an exchange student. That probably was one of the smartest choices I have ever made because it launched me further than anything into my education process. Thanks to the IEC University Placement Program, right now I am a master student studying Finance and International Business at Aarhus School of Business, one of the European top Business Schools, in Denmark. The city of Aarhus is the second biggest in the country, a city full of life and vibrancy, where student life is at its peak. Furthermore, the university offers different options accompanied by grants. For example, after the 1st two semesters, one has the option to go on exchange in numerous countries all over the world, or double-degree, where one can earn two master degrees in two years. The school offers also, through partnerships with different organizations, about 4.000 internships spread around the globe. Therefore, I think Aarhus is one of the best places to study and have fun in the same time. „ Mihai Marinescu, Braila

“ I found out about the recently called VIA University College at an educational fair in the fall of 2006. The IEC was promoting this new program and I immediately realized how big of an opportunity it is for us, Romanian students, to attend an European university without having to pay any tuition. My decision to continue my undergrad studies in Denmark was not easy to make, as I had to consider every educational opportunity in my home country, as well as all the practical factors of moving to a foreign country. Looking back at the last year though, I do not regret any of the decisions I made.„ Dana Cojocari, Chisinau, Moldova
